I find it funny that most places outside of the United States truly dislike Americans. But once they find out that you’re not an American, but from New York City, you’d think they just discovered you were their long lost cousin. All of the cool shit NYC has given the world has truly left any citizen of the region blessed with these experiences. This has happened to me on numerous occasions with the follow up questions always being about the Yankees, pizza, the mafia, graff on the subways, & breakdancing. So for getting me that free slice of Pizza in Israel, I thank you NY!

21 Mercer plays host to Nike Sportswear’s 1st annual Stickball Tournament, which makes its debut this Sunday April 4th, the same day the World Champion New York Yankees open the 2010 baseball season at Boston’s Fenway Park.
